It was recently announced that eight members of the Brown faculty have been elected members of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, one of the nation's most prestigious honor societies.

Brown Club of Orange County is excited to recognize two of our recent speakers among the group!!

Kim Cobb, Director of the Institute at Brown for Environment & Society, spoke to our group in June of 2024 about climate, sustainability, adn environmental challenges of the 21st century.

And Ashish Jha, professor of health services, policy and practice and Dean of Brown’s School of Public Health, had a timely event on "Covid and the Path Forward" in September of 2021.
We are so proud to present these amazing scholars and speakers to our group, and congratulate them on their recent award.
Glad you noticed, Angela! You never know - we might get 1 or 2 of the other 5 to visit, too ...
Great post, Angela! Our club has been privileged to host so many renowned Brown faculty members, and we have more exciting visits in the works!
