We'll get more out soon, but the annual "Top Schools" mixer will again be held Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025, roughly 6 to 9 PM, at Hanger 24 in Irvine -
Mark your calendar! No admission charge, and be sure to bring in your parking ticket in to validate at Hanger 24. Bad news is you buy your own food and drinks.
The event is mostly outdoors there - sunset will be a little before 7 PM. Look for our Brown table to sign in and get a name tag. Maybe I'll bring my well-worn Brown t-shirt again ...
Joining Brown will be alumni of all the "Top Schools" from various lists coming out now. That certainly includes all the Ivies, MIT, Stanford, UC Berkeley and UCLA (UC in general), the other "UC" - in Chicago - Duke, Northwestern - the list goes on. Those are big universities, but top 4-yr colleges should count, too - Swarthmore, Lafayette, Oberlin, Kenyon, Williams, etc. Depends a lot on whose alumni we can find!
Very, very informal. All Brown classes - those from both the last century and the current one - welcome and encouraged. Bring a good attitude, a smile, and if possible some College Hill "Grad Center Bar" spirit!
If you have never been to a Brown Club event before, this is a great place to start.
