I ask the Brown community to join together at 4:03 p.m. today, wherever you are, in a moment of silence as we reflect upon one week since the tragic shooting that took the lives of two of our fellow Brunonians and injured nine others, forever changing our community. 

The campus bells will toll as we pause and remember Ella Cook and MukhammadAziz Umurzokov, two bright lights extinguished far too soon. We hold those still recovering in our thoughts, and we are deeply grateful to those who have shown care and compassion to the Brown community.

We are ever true.
