Writer: sdwesterfieldsdwesterfield

We've chosen the Surfrider Foundation for our Day of Service this year.

Chad Nelsen (BS '92) has led Surfrider for over a decade on vital coastal and climate policies. We're collaborating with the North OC Chapter for a native plant restoration event and will have an optional, no-host group lunch afterwards at the Beach House, an ocean-friendly restaurant certified by Surfrider.

Time & location: We'll meet Saturday, March 15th at 8:45 a.m. at the pinned location at 13 Marine Drive in Seal Beach. There is a restroom located near the beach. RSVP HERE, and we'll provide a contact phone number .

Please wear:

- Suitable Pants

- Sneakers or similar closed-toe footwear (not sandals)

- Gloves (gardening)

- Sun hat (venue is not shaded)

- Sunscreen

Please bring:-

Water bottle (we'll have jugs and paper cups in case)
