About the event
Let’s enjoy lunch and a special performance by Brown alum, Hassan Albakri (’00) and his band, Coastal, at the Annual Balboa Island Artwalk. This event features 90 artists and live music throughout the day. Admission is free.
Hassan is an engineer and lawyer who plays lead guitar, bass, and backing vocals for the local band, Coastal. His fellow band members include a Broadway star, TV Celebrity, and Firefighter. Their music style can be desribed as a laid-back mixture of original and cover 'beachy' tunes. Click here to connect to their Instagram.
We will meet for lunch around 11:30am at a local restaurant along the Artwalk before gathering to listen to Hassan and his band's performance around 1pm. RSVP required.
