About the event

Ashish Jha, M.D., M.P.H., Dean of the Brown University School of Public Health, is a practicing physician, and an expert on pandemic preparedness and response, and public health policy. His 200+ original research publications have appeared in such prestigious journals as the Journal of the American Medical Association "JAMA" and the British Medical Journal "BMJ."

Dr. Jha started his role as the Dean of the Brown School of Public Health on September 1, 2020. Before that he was a faculty member at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health since 2004 and Harvard Medical School since 2005.

Dr. Jha is a frequent guest on PBS, NPR and other media outlets when the topic is COVID. Come meet him as Brown Club Orange County hosts Dr. Jha for a discussion about COVID, vaccination, the Delta variant and the way forward.
