If you graduated from Brown when or after the Alpert Med School moved to this building

and your diploma was signed by a FEMALE Brown President (Chris Paxson or Ruth Simmons), join us for a Just For Fun Happy Hour Wednesday, June 4, 2025, 4:30 - 6:30 PM, at Hanger 24, 17877 Von Karman Ave., Irvine, CA. Kick off summer at this event - it's:
Casual and just for fun
Free Admission - but you have to buy your own drinks and food
Easy access and lots of (validated) free parking
We're here for socializing and networking, whatever your place in life. You'll be welcome whether you are:
Married with kids and looking for others with kids for "playdates"
Not married and looking for a Prospective Date (or a referral)
Married, no kids (or in a "committed relationship") and planning on staying that way
Looking to network with other younger Brown grads and professionals (bring cards!)
Seeking others to share tennis, concerts, golf, theater, fun in general
Or something else ...
Whatever – how can you have more fun than with other Brown folks? You all have Chicken Finger Fridays in common! At this event, we want to feature those who think the real James Bond is Daniel Craig, or know Snoop Dogg because their parents liked him – basically class of 2010 and later. If you were cheated out of a Commencement bash by the Pandemic in 2020 or 2021, this is your chance to make up for it!
Hanger 24 is where we had the Ivy Plus mixer last September – a great fun place in Irvine with their own beer, full bar, and great selection of food items. Heading inland on Von Karman from Main St., left at the first light (Intersect), and through the gate to park. Bring your ticket – Hanger 24 happily validates. But you buy your own drinks and food – that’s the bad news.

This is organized and led for Brown Club of Orange County by Bill McNeely, Brown class of MCMLXXII … for questions, more info, contact him at wfmcn1@gmail.com.
Don’t worry – he’s certified "transgenerational." He will organize (maybe) one more of these – after that, you of the New Generation will have to take over – but we’ll give you lots of help. If you want to come but are closer to Bill’s age than Sabrina Carpenter’s, you’re very welcome, but please be young at heart!
Please RSVP by May 28, so we can warn Hanger 24.
Bonus points if you knew Clyde or Gracie Lawrence at Brown. See you there!
